Job OverviewMonolithic Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Patent Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying patentable ideas, preparing and filing patent applications, and conducting patent search and analysis.Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with R&D engineers to identify and develop patentable ideas
  • Assist inventors in preparing and filing timely and accurate invention disclosures
  • Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications meeting international standards
  • Conduct thorough patent search and analysis to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Provide intellectual property training to R&D engineers to enhance their understanding of patent laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze complex technical information and make informed decisions
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in R&D or drafting and prosecuting patent applications is highly desirable
