About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Oaks of Brecksville. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and service, adhering to established health and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, adhering to established protocols.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food Service Director and Cook to ensure seamless food service operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
