Job Overview

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wildland Fire Management Specialist to join our team. This role requires a strong background in wildland firefighting, emergency management, and incident command.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to wildfires and other emergencies affecting PacifiCorp's electric infrastructure and facilities.
  • Represent PacifiCorp during fire and emergency incidents, providing critical information to support safe operations.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with fire and emergency management agencies throughout the service territory.
  • Provide timely and accurate incident information to PacifiCorp leadership and organizations.
  • Enhance first responder safety through training and coordination efforts.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a paid firefighter.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to establish objectives, make decisions, and oversee multiple projects and functions.
  • Necessary skills to develop and implement systems, programs, and processes.
  • 24/7 availability for emergencies and disasters.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,700 - $118,400 per year. Additional benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, and paid short-term and long-term disability leave.
