Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Bethel, ME. As a PTA, you will work closely with our licensed therapists to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. If you are passionate about helping others and have a strong commitment to patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding client relations with facilities and their staff.
  • Document patient information in charts using accepted medical terminology and format, as permitted by state regulations.
Qualifications
  • A valid state PTA license is required, as well as a degree from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants and passage of a national examination certified by the CAPTE.
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
  • CPR certification is also required.
