About the Role:

The Kansas City office of Lewis Brisbois, a leading full-service law firm, is seeking an attorney to join its Labor and Employment Practice Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training.
  • Provide sound counsel in dozens of jurisdictions across the United States.
  • Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings, draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice in Missouri.
  • At least two to seven years of experience in employment law matters.
  • Prior employment litigation experience required (preferably on the management side).
  • Employment counseling or in-house employment law experience preferred.
