Our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person, addressing the underlying causes of OUD, to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for restoring patients' health and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide support to patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supply and administer medication pursuant to physician order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
- Record dosages in medical records.
- Daily inventory count of medication supply and receiving incoming shipments.
- Safeguarding medication inventory.
- Collecting fees and performing daily cash reconciliation in the absence of cashier personnel.
- Observing and monitoring patient demeanor.
- Communicating patient concerns to superiors.
- Complying with federal and state privacy rules, including 42 CFR Parts 160, 164, as well as applicable clinic policies and procedures.
- Contacting other centers to verify dosages as needed.
- Administering appropriate lab tests, collecting data, and reporting per process.
- Scheduling and screening patients to be seen by the Medical Director.
- Receiving and documenting medical orders.
- Actively participating in CARF preparation and start audit process.
- Always acting in the best interest of the patient, program, and company.
- Honoring, supporting, and protecting the proprietary rights of patients and the company.
- Interfacing with the public and patients by answering phones, greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities while on center premises.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered Nurse (Licensed in the state of the job location).
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact.
- Understanding of opiate addiction and medical terminology.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Basic typing skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
