LPN Supervisor Job Description

Solaris HealthCare Waterman is committed to providing top-quality care that helps our residents move forward and resume their normal way of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
  • Collect patient/resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident
  • Implement the patient/resident plan of care and evaluate the patient/resident response
  • Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations
  • Maintain knowledge of necessary documentation requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use
  • Maintain confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all patient/resident/personnel information
  • Provide patient/resident/family/caregiver education as directed
  • Conduct self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies
  • Work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled
  • Initiate emergency support measures (i.e., CPR, protect patients/residents from injury)
