Chief Physicist

Ardent Health is seeking a highly skilled Chief Physicist to lead our Radiation Oncology team in Athens, TX. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate use of radiation in patient treatment and diagnosis. Your expertise will be crucial in verifying treatment charts, confirming dosimetrist calculations, and conducting regular equipment calibration tests. You will also develop treatment plans for complex cases, provide physics support during radiation procedures, and collaborate with our Radiation Oncologist to resolve treatment concerns. If you have a Doctor's degree in Medical Physics or a related field and three years of experience in clinical medical physics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
