Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a knack for building relationships and securing funding for a great cause? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Philanthropy Officer to join our team in Massachusetts.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires working in the office and from home, with frequent travel within the region. As a Regional Philanthropy Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding current and prospective regional donors to support the American Red Cross's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional strategy to retain, grow, and recapture donor contributions
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and fundraising staff to create customized solicitation strategies
  • Solicit assigned donor portfolios through face-to-face visits and virtual meetings
  • Meet personal annual revenue targets by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects
  • Implement a program to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors at the $5,000 level or higher
  • Maintain donor records within our database management tool (Salesforce)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum five years of sales and/or fundraising experience required
  • Proven experience in developing strategies for donor retention, growth, and recapture
  • Proven success with complex requests
  • Current valid driver's license and good driving record required
