About the Role

HSHS St. John's Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Ministry Float Pool RN. This role will involve floating to various units within our specialty area, based on the RN's competency level and required cross-training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete competency and cross-training to float to designated units
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health
  • Provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families
  • Supervise assigned team members and ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associates degree in nursing is required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
  • 1 year of relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in specialty area is preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois and Wisconsin is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
  • Certification in area of specialty is preferred but may be required to float
