Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular conditions.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, positioning patients, and cleaning/shaving/testing sites as necessary.
  • Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors, artifacts, and reacting appropriately.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring proper functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Certified Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, Cardiac Sonographer.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
