Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement an effective and precise system for tracking all incoming and outgoing units requiring transportation
  • Input orders into the system and monitor shipments across various channels
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing
  • Be available to handle transportation inquiries, including nights and weekends
  • Exhibit strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Work closely with the inventory team and store representatives to ensure safe vehicle drop-offs
  • Assist management in establishing and maintaining departmental goals
  • Develop reliable communication channels with management and store-level teams in sales, service, and recon
  • Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Build and maintain relationships with new transportation companies to secure cost-effective and professional services

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive sector, particularly in transportation and logistics
  • Familiarity with Dealertrack, Central Dispatch, and vAuto systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Sound decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
