Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Pool Technician. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the park's water system and ensuring that the water is clean and safe for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service to guests and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Maintain multiple pool systems during the day, ensuring compliance with legal operating limits and identifying and controlling unsafe conditions or situations.
- Handle pool chemicals and equipment, and supervise the Pool Cleaners to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve water quality and reduce chemical usage.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in pool chemistry and maintenance is preferred.
- Must demonstrate leadership qualities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Exposure to extreme heat and humidity.
- Exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
