Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Butte Clinic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Butte Clinic. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and developmental issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric nursing.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current RN license in the state of Montana.
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm
