Job Overview

Surpass Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens with autism, making a profound impact on their lives and those of their families.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a school setting, delivering individualized services to children with autism. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement ABA principles in the development of positive behavior support plans, IEPs, and 504 plans.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team as a Behavioral Technician in a school setting. As a valued member of our therapy teams, you will work collaboratively with school district staff to create a supportive environment for students.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and report data on programs such as student's IEP goals, behavioral management, social skills, and academic areas.
  • Collaborate with BCBA to develop and implement positive behavior support plans, IEPs, and 504 plans using ABA principles.
  • Provide direct 1:1 and/or small group therapy to identified students to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region.
  • Ability to acquire RBT certification within 45 days of hire date, with training provided by Surpass Behavioral Health.
