About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Amergis. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in providing speech and language services, including screenings, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical, educational, and documentation support to Speech Language Pathologists and other clinical staff.
  • Assist with bilingual translation and interpretation services as needed.
  • Document patient progress and report findings to Speech Language Pathologists and other clinical staff.
  • Participate in research projects, in-service training, and public relations programs as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
  • Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract.
  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice.
  • One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred.
