Job Description

At Great Wolf Lodge, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stock by assisting chefs in keeping kitchens in full working order, retrieving stock, and keeping cooking and serving utensils and plates clean and sanitary at all times.
  • Organize, rinse, and run dishes and utensils through the dishwasher, unload, and organize according to set guidelines.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work area by following sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Provide foodstuff and utensils for chefs by carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Maintain food quality by storing foods in designated areas, minimizing spoilage.
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of needed dishes and utensils.
  • Segregate and remove waste according to company standards.

Requirements:

  • Some High School education or equivalent.
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and/or training in hands-on equipment maintenance.
  • Understanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure a clean food preparation environment.
  • Proven teamwork.
  • Projects a professional image that inspires trust and confidence.
  • Enthusiastic and positive energy.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to withstand hot and humid environments for long periods of time.
