About the Job

Travel Nurse Source is partnering with Infojini Healthcare to find a skilled OR RN for a 12-hour day shift in Round Rock, Texas. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience.

Job Summary

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the healthcare team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, identifying potential risks and complications
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical processes
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Review charts for completeness and accuracy, adhering to documentation protocols
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or 2 years of experience above the minimum qualification
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and maintain a high level of physical and mental stamina
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
