Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Patricio Enterprises. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition and life cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation to support system engineering technical reviews and other programmatic milestone events.
  • Provide technical input and support to the Program Engineering leads for development and facilitation of SETR event preparation, execution, and closure.
  • Collect and upload Technical Review Data Package (TRDP) artifacts in support of SETR events.
  • Provide technical input concerning overall systems engineering, development, and T&E activities and test programs.
  • Collect and file all required safety documentation in identified physical or electronic mediums.
  • Support the Systems Engineering Working-level Integrated Product Teams (WIPTs) by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to define, develop, and maintain the strategy, plans, and schedule.
  • Analyze user requirements and provide inputs into the development of system specification documents.
  • Provide engineering support to the Engineering leads for updating the RTM input following test report completion.
  • Technical support and input to the Engineering leads regarding applicable Systems Engineering concepts.
  • Draft any documentation required for obtaining and maintaining frequency allocations for all systems.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in the DoD 5000 Framework.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or 15 years experience in lieu of degree.
  • BS Degree and 3-10 years work experience in systems engineering.
  • BS Degree and 3-5 years work experience supporting a DoD acquisition program management office.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. Occasionally lifts to 20 lbs.

Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write. Requires adaptability, analyzing, assessing, calculating, decision making, dependability, good judgment, reading, memorizing, social skills, speaking, stress control and writing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information; Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication. Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.
