Monte Nido & Affiliates is seeking a part-time Recovery Coach to join our team at Clementine Fairfax, a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders.
About the RoleAs a Recovery Coach, you will play a key role in supporting clients through their recovery journey, providing guidance and intervention consistent with their treatment plan. You will engage clients in developing healthy relationships with their peers and the treatment team, assist with meal preparation and supervision, and participate in therapeutic groups to promote clinical growth.
Responsibilities- Support clients in their recovery journey, providing guidance and intervention consistent with their treatment plan.
- Engage clients in developing healthy relationships with their peers and the treatment team.
- Assist with meal preparation and supervision, modeling healthy eating habits.
- Participate in therapeutic groups to promote clinical growth and development.
- Conduct rounds and provide observations to support client care.
- Occasionally, drive clients off-site for appointments and activities.
- At least 2 years of post-high school education, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting, with a valid state-issued driver's license and safe driving history.
- Excellent communication and client relations skills, with a service-oriented approach and flexibility to work as part of a team.
