Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) presents an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to contribute to our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage supply and demand dynamics, schedules, supplier quality, delivery timelines, and financial performance metrics.
- Lead negotiations regarding pricing and contractual terms.
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies that culminate in formal agreements.
- Interpret and enforce the stipulations of contracts.
- Engage with external clients to address supplier performance challenges.
- Facilitate supplier performance teams to devise strategic solutions across various programs and commodities.
- Participate in supply chain process enhancement initiatives and identify potential improvements for supplier contract strategies.
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring some onsite work at designated locations, as determined by the hiring team.
Work Schedule:
This role is designated for 1st shift.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Eligibility for a U.S. Security Clearance is necessary, which mandates U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain or materials management.
- At least 1 year of experience in direct negotiations with suppliers.
- 1+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
Typical Education and Experience:
Education and experience generally acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation Assistance:
Relocation support is available based on candidate eligibility.
Travel Requirements:
This position may necessitate travel up to 25% of the time.
