Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient hemodynamic status, including vital signs and laboratory results.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
