IRP Chaplain

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a skilled and compassionate IRP Chaplain to provide spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, and staff. As a member of the Department of Pastoral Care, this individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality pastoral care services, ensuring the religious and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones are met.

• Provide spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, and staff in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
• Assess the spiritual needs of patients and develop plans to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to promote spiritual care and well-being.

• Master's level degree in theology or a related field.
• Ordination or membership in a recognized religious group.
• Clinical training in chaplaincy (at least one unit of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education).
