We are seeking an experienced Women's Health Specialist to join our team in Newport, Rhode Island. This locums opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding experience for healthcare professionals.

Job Overview

This position involves working as a hospitalist in an OB/GYN department, providing comprehensive care to patients with various women's health needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient cases, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Role:
    • As a hospitalist, you will be involved in the management of patients with obstetric and gynecological conditions, including antepartum care, postpartum care, and acute gynecological issues.
    • You will work closely with other healthcare providers, including anesthesia and maternal-fetal medicine specialists, to ensure seamless patient care.
    • The position involves on-call shifts, primarily on weekends and nights, to provide 24/7 coverage.
    • You will also participate in clinic duties, including patient assessments, treatments, and education.
  • What We Offer:
    • A competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

    • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
