Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management of assigned staff. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for the practice of professional nursing, including patient care and staff management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing individualized patient care based on assessment data and treatment plans.
  • Managing assigned staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a valid New Mexico Nursing license or compact license. You should also have a minimum of two years of experience in ICU nursing and general nursing experience. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and ACLS certification are preferred.
