The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist is tasked with assessing, designing, and executing solutions to enhance machinery longevity and minimize operational interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate machinery failures to identify root causes.
- Develop and implement corrective actions for identified issues.
- Create and execute preventive maintenance strategies to mitigate equipment failures.
- Review and enhance the existing preventive maintenance program.
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with contractors on mechanical initiatives.
- Oversee and execute mechanical maintenance projects and repairs.
- Achieve reductions in utility expenses through effective maintenance practices.
- Conduct troubleshooting on equipment and processes to resolve technical challenges.
- Contribute to the formulation of the maintenance budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in an engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and other mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC), particularly Mitsubishi Q series.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Background in boiler systems, steam, air compressors, and other utilities.
- A commitment to personal and professional growth.
