At Cassella Waste Systems, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a CDL Driver Apprentice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and personal growth in the waste management industry.

As a CDL Driver Apprentice, you will be responsible for obtaining a Commercial Driving Permit and completing Federally required CDL instruction and training to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. You will work alongside a knowledgeable Casella Waste Driver Trainer to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to excel in this role.

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location. To be successful in this role, you should have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, hold a state-issued standard CDL Driver's Class B permit with air brake endorsement or have the ability to get one within six months, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. You should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening and problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service.
