Facilities Maintenance Specialist

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician at Christian Relief Services Charities, Inc. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about facilities management and thrive in a hands-on environment. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and contribute positively to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve maintenance requests efficiently.
- Conduct repairs related to heating and air conditioning systems.
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new occupants.
- Complete all resident work orders in a timely manner.
The Maintenance Technician position requires a solid understanding and experience in various maintenance disciplines, including:
- HVAC systems (certification preferred)
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Drywall repair
- Electrical work
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to their work. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with team members and updating supervisors and residents on maintenance tasks.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to assist others will contribute to your success in this role. Candidates should be prepared to handle after-hours emergency maintenance calls.
