Radio Communications Specialist

As a Radio Communications Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering a broad range of radio and communications services for our organization. This includes providing technical expertise for the evaluation and implementation of services to our business partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Supports the technical roadmap for the radio and communications business needs.
- Troubleshoots, services, and maintains two-way radio systems and wireless network equipment, including satellite devices.
- Builds successful relationships with other IT and business partners by acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring fast, reliable, cost-effective delivery of radio and communication services.
- Provides radio and communications analysis, recommendations, and effective implementation of solutions and processes.
- Assists and communicates with radio service providers and vendors, creating quotes and bids based on customer needs.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in 2-way radio and wireless communication systems theory.
- Experience with Motorola Land Mobile Radio equipment, including repeaters, mobiles, control stations, and portables.
- Possess a current ETA technician certification, FCC-GROL, or equivalent.
- Experience in diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and programming of wireless communication equipment, such as 2-way radios, transmitters, receivers, and antennas.
- A valid driver's license and insurability in the state of residence.
- Must be tower certified and/or willing to become tower certified.
This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $79,300-$119,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
