Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions, gather medical history, and perform physical examinations
- Make accurate and timely diagnoses of patient medical conditions or injuries
- Develop treatment plans, including medical interventions, procedures, medications, and recommendations for further care
- Perform emergency procedures, such as wound suturing, abscess drainage, central line placement, intubation, and more
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care instructions
- Address patient pain and discomfort, providing appropriate pain relief measures while considering individual patient needs and potential risks
- Document patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and communications accurately and thoroughly
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Massachusetts
- Board Eligible/Certified in Emergency Medicine
