Painter Technician

ALL METALS PROCESSING OF ORANGE COUNTY LLC is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray guns.

• Determine and select the correct mixes of coating material.
• Apply paint to parts as directed by job orders.
• Identify and coat areas that are inaccessible to hand sprayers.
• Identify problems with equipment and troubleshoot or repair paint guns.
• Run ovens as needed.
• Complete visual inspections of masking on parts to ensure consistency and inspect for damaged product.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Work closely with the production team and assist as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using and troubleshooting gravity spray guns.
• Previous experience in the aerospace industry or automotive repair is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels in the organization.

• Walking/standing for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Exposed to heat, noise, and chemical fumes while in production areas.
• Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
