Job Title: Interventional Gastroenterologist

Loyola University Health System and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine are seeking a full-time clinical practice interventional gastroenterologist to join our nationally ranked Digestive Health program.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should have excellent skills in general gastroenterology and the ability to perform minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional endoscopies, including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and other advanced therapeutic procedures.
  • Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders using minimally invasive techniques.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
  • Contribute to academic productivity and research initiatives.
Requirements
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Illinois medical license at the time of appointment.
  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring.
  • Academic productivity and research experience.
