**Job Description:
Mission-Critical Role in Mental Health ServicesWe are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinician (LPC - LCSW - LMSW- LMFT- PLMSW-LP Associates) to join our multi-disciplinary team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive psychotherapy, early intervention, and support services to our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Lead individual, group, and family therapy sessions to help clients overcome mental health challenges.
- Educate clients on effective stress and trauma coping mechanisms.
- Provide clients with essential resources to achieve personal goals.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to deliver comprehensive services.
- Maintain professional liability insurance and adhere to licensure board standards.
- Deliver behavioral interventions for effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Document client interactions and clinical notes within 48 hours.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Licensed in the state of Arkansas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PLMSW, LPC Associates).
- Proven experience working with children, youth, and/or families from high-risk backgrounds.
- High tolerance for emotionally demanding work environments.
- Ability to respond positively to ongoing changes and adapt to new tasks.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate program services (day shift hours, occasional evenings, and weekends).
- Valid state driver's license and eligibility to drive for program services.
- Pass a drug screening and required background checks.
- Comfortable conducting group sessions at correctional facilities for re-entry clients.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
