Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Conduct emissions testing.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues.
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance and tune-ups.
- Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs.
- Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments.
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections to identify maintenance opportunities.
- Complete repairs and maintenance efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Over 10 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
- Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines.
- Experience in exhaust and welding is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and rapid diagnostic skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities with a desire for improvement.
- Ability to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- ASE Certification or Technical degree is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Possession of personal tools and reliable transportation.
- Experience in electrical systems, brake work, alignment, suspension, cooling system repairs, and oil/fluid changes.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
