Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support Manufacturing Services programs within the Fabrication shop, located in Archbald, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Material review board chair
  • Corrective action board facilitation
  • Inspection/test support and disposition of nonconforming material
  • Program team meetings support
  • Facilitate/review/approve/follow-up corrective action requests
  • Support both internal and external audits, process improvements and various other duties as assigned
  • Preparation and completion of First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Process Line Verification (PLVs) and Production Readiness Review (PRRs)
  • Hardware Quality Assessments (HQAs), Program Status Reviews (PSRs) and Corrective Action Boards (CABs).

Basic Qualifications:

A STEM bachelors degree from an accredited college in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, etc.) with 2 years of professional experience; or no years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.

Desired Skills:

Previous Mechanical and/or Fabrication experience. A basic understanding of the MFC SAP business system. Lean / Six Sigma Green or Green Belt/Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA). Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
