Job Title: Network Systems Engineer Leader

MSR Collective is seeking a highly skilled Network Systems Engineer Leader to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions for our government clients.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Network Engineers to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions for our government clients.
  • Network Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy secure network architectures that meet the needs of our government clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Network Security: Implement and enforce robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard sensitive government data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and change logs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a government contracting or federal agency environment.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.
  • Experience with network security tools and practices, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Knowledge of government compliance standards, including FISMA, NIST, and DISA STIGs.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Estimated salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year.
