Key Responsibilities- Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient position, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate and maintain all equipment within the modality, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to perform examinations effectively.
- Assist physicians with various procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations, procedures, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide educational training to students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification as a Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) and Basic Life Support Certification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of radiology principles, equipment operation, and patient care protocols.
