Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Watch Engineer PT to join our team at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott at Convention Center. As a Watch Engineer PT, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical plant of the property, repairing miscellaneous gas, electric, and steam appliances, and monitoring and inspecting boiler equipment and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain various types of appliances and equipment
  • Monitor and inspect boiler equipment, valves, gauges, and other systems
  • Test and treat closed loop systems to promote efficient operation and prevent corrosion
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and components
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
