Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Froedtert Health. As an integral member of our interventional radiology team, you will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, operate advanced imaging equipment, and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiographic procedures, including vascular interventions, oncology treatments, and musculoskeletal procedures.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment, including Siemens and Philips systems, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and document inventory materials and supplies for interventional radiology services.
  • Perform tasks in various IR procedures, including vascular interventions, oncology treatments, and musculoskeletal procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interventional radiology team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in an interventional radiology or cath lab setting.
  • ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.
  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in vascular interventional radiology procedures.
  • Experience in Siemens and Philips imaging systems.
  • Experience in Siemens and GE ultrasound imaging systems.
  • Familiarity with EPIC/PACS systems.
  • Strong coding and billing knowledge in Interventional Radiology.
