As a Pharmacy Technician at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications to our patients.

Job Summary

The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to fill medication orders, pre-package medications, compound pharmaceuticals, refill stock supplies, deliver medications, and perform various clerical duties as required.

Requirements

  • Short-term training in pharmacy law, practices standards, terminology, pharmacy math, drug preparation, dosage forms, and trade/generic names
  • Active New Mexico Board of Pharmacy License
  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification through exam or transfer

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required; High School Diploma or GED required
