Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Cook II to contribute to our culinary operations.
Company Background: Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center is an at-will employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and assist in the preparation of food for various dining services
- Uphold the highest standards in culinary production
- Engage in all interactions with a positive, service-oriented attitude
- Comply with company protocols for safe and efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure adherence to certification requirements
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus and food preparation techniques
- Supervise kitchen activities to guarantee efficiency and quality
- Prepare meals for banquets and staff dining
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen environment
- Enforce safety standards and operational guidelines
- Assist in training staff and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Participate in management meetings as necessary
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
