Job Opportunity at Spectrum 360

Spectrum 360, a NJ Non Profit Corp., is seeking a qualified School Custodian - Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a private NJ State Board of Education Approved School for students on the autism spectrum, we require a reliable and skilled individual to maintain our facilities at both our locations in Verona and Livingston, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including snow removal equipment, to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs as needed, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work at both school locations, Verona and Livingston.
  • Low-Pressure Black Seal License preferred but not required.
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
  • CDL License preferred but not required (Sponsorship for CDL possible).
  • Must be able to perform all duties, including snow removal.
  • Overtime required if requested by Manager to complete necessary tasks.
