Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a group of technicians to ensure that all repairs and maintenance of equipment are performed in compliance with our safety standards and applicable federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Diagnose complex repair work and provide coaching on diagnostic techniques to subordinate technicians
- Perform external repair inspections to ensure all repair work is done in a safe manner
- Schedule repair work for the team to ensure that all repair and maintenance work is done in a safe and timely manner
- Identify and address any safety concerns or issues within the team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) is a plus
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's License is a plus
- Valid Driver's License
