We are a non-profit Waldorf-inspired program for children 6 weeks - 6 years, established in 2010. Our mission is to provide a holistic education that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a deep connection with nature.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Preschool and Kindergarten Co-Teacher in our Oak Class. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a Waldorf-inspired curriculum that integrates art, music, and movement with academic learning
  • Develop and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment that promotes physical activity and outdoor exploration
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with young children in a Waldorf-inspired or nature-based setting
  • Knowledge of Waldorf education principles and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
