Job Overview

We are a fast-paced Manufacturing facility seeking a skilled Precision Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and welding metal components with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld metal components together using MIG or TIG Welding methods, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to industry standards.
  • Review prints and routers to ensure accurate material receipt and processing.
  • Position and clamp components together preparatory to welding, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
  • Perform related tasks such as grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, and increasing metal part size.
  • Complete purchase requisitions for area materials and submit to the office for procurement.
  • Maintain and clean welders, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Fill out applicable router operations completely and accurately, documenting work progress and quality.
  • Train co-workers as necessary to ensure a positive workflow and efficient production.
  • Perform set-up inspections, first-piece inspections, and subsequent inspections as required by AS9100 standards.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor and Safety Manager to ensure a safe working environment in the welding area.
  • Clock in and out of the time clock on each operation, adhering to production schedules and overtime requirements.
  • Responsible for general cleaning and area organization on a daily basis, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements
  • Previous welding experience, with a strong background in metal fabrication.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions of a technical nature.
  • Effective English reading and writing communication skills.
  • Ability to operate different tools and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Good skill set on measuring and fitting.
  • Great attitude and a commitment to quality and safety.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must have reliable transportation.
  • Candidate must pass a drug screen and work in a drug-free environment.
