Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Atrium Health Cleveland. As a valued member of our medical surgical unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing care and assist with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and perform all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Participate in patient assessments by determining nursing care needs based on collection and interpretation of relevant data.
  • Recognize and determine need for immediate intervention.
  • Communicate with the appropriate clinical staff on the status of a patient if a significant change has occurred.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing required.
  • Current LPN licensure or temporary license as a licensed practical nurse petitioner required.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
