Physician Thoracic Surgery Position

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a skilled Physician Thoracic Surgeon to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to our patients.
This position comes with a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $550,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat thoracic diseases and conditions through complex surgical procedures.
- Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations to determine the cause of patients' symptoms.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay current with the latest medical advancements and technologies by participating in educational programs.
What We're Looking For:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
- Completion of a residency program in thoracic surgery.
- Board certification in thoracic surgery.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
