Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various physical therapy needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of their physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and objectives.
- Administer manual exercises and other physical therapy interventions to improve patient function and mobility.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and other relevant topics.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates prior to January 1, 2002.
- Graduate from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Minimum 2 years experience, within the last 3 years.
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist License.
- Board Certification: N/A.
- Life Support Certifications: BLS.
- Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.
This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, TX, and requires a full-time commitment. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm, to include a lunch break. No weekends, no holidays, and no call or call-back are required.
