As a Financial Analyst within our organization, your role will encompass financial modeling to bolster capital initiatives and facilitate the launch of new products. In collaboration with Senior Leadership, you will engage in discussions regarding departmental expenditures, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside project managers to formulate and oversee capital project budgets.
- Evaluate project viability, return on investment (ROI), and other financial metrics.
- Revise financial forecasts and offer insights into potential risks and opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis and support new product costing and financial assessments for launches.
- Execute cost analyses utilizing SAP and BI, and develop models for specialized projects.
- Accountable for monthly financial reporting to Senior Leadership.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analytics through various data reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Analytics within a manufacturing context.
- Expertise in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to collaborate effectively in a global setting.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to frequently sit, communicate, and listen, with occasional walking and standing. The role is situated in a professional office environment, and some domestic travel may be necessary. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and benefits.
