Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and a 13-week contract. This compensation package includes tax-free stipends and travel reimbursements.

About the Role

As a long term acute care nurse with MedPro Healthcare Staffing, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary duties will include assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for 5-6 patients simultaneously, adjusting and performing in a fast-paced environment
  • Monitor and administer medications, educate patients and family members on surgical processes and illness management
  • Interpret telemetry readings, notify medical team members of any irregularities, and perform duties required of a registered nurse
  • Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure, and at least 18 months of experience in long term acute care settings. Additionally, you should have BLS & ACLS certifications and proficiency in using specialized equipment, such as vents, trachs, drips, and EG tubes.
